    What happens if you loose power?                                                       
  • Our server is on a battery backup that notifies a technician as soon as the power goes out & will keep the phone server up and running until it is switched over to the generator. In spite of all the power outages during the 2004 hurricane season, we were able to continue servicing our customers. We admit there is always a chance that something unforeseen could happen, however our track record speaks for it's self.
   
                                                 
   

What happens if we loose power and can not receive incoming calls?

  • You can forward each extension yourself (see instruction page), or call us with cell phone number/s, or any other alternate phone number and we will route the calls for you.
   
                                                 
   

How often can I have you make changes to our account with out being charged?

  • We give you a week to get a complete feel for the system. We are always happy to make any changes for you. Please, keep in mind that if you add features that were not originally part of your contract your monthly fees may increase.  After the first week you will be charged a small fee for changes, depending on how complex the change is.

    Is English my only language option?
  • No, Spanish is available, along with several others. If you have a special need, just let us know. We will always do our best to accommodate you.
   
                                                 
    Why does Caller ID not show the callers ID on my phone?
  • Your main advertised number is forwarded to a phone number in our did group of numbers. Then our system reroutes the call depending on the option selected by the caller. When the call is then received by your phone system the only caller ID that would show is ours.
   
                                                 
    What if I want to record my own auto attendant message?
  • You can record the message yourself. It's a little more work on our end to set it up, so there may be an additional setup fee charge. Let us know and we can go over the details with you.
   
                                                 
    We have employees in different locations, will your service work for us?
  • Absolutely! We have several companies with employees that work out of their homes or different office locations. Some are even in different parts of the country. That's the exciting thing about OfficeByte it can make your company look like everyone is all under one roof, even if your not.
